A cappella competitions are a major and fun part that helps keep us focused on raising the bar of performing excellence. We come together in a spirit of lighthearted contest, to see who's really got top form. We root for each other, cheer each other on, and once the medals have been handed out, we sing and party into the night!
Our next regional contest is scheduled for March 22 - 25 and will be held in Spokane, WA. Dozens of choruses and quartets come together to sing and compete. There are a number of judging categories, and the groups bring complete and entertaining packages. If you're anywhere near Spokane this March, please come be a part of the fun!
In the fall, the winners of all regional contests gather together for our International competition. In 2012, International competition will be held in Denver, CO from Oct. 30 - Nov. 3. You can view the complete contest on a live webcast on the Sweet Adelines International website. This is the ultimate female barbershop competition -- not to be missed!
